Biographical Sketch
Arthur W. Kelley received his B.S.E. from Duke
University, Durham, North Carolina in 1979. He continued at Duke
as a James B. Duke Fellow and received his M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in
1981, and 1984, respectively. From 1985 to 1987, he was employed as a
Senior Research Engineer at Sundstrand Corporation, Rockford,
Illinois, where he worked on aerospace power systems. He joined the
faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at
North Carolina State University in 1987 where he currently holds the
rank of Associate Professor. His interests include PWM dc-to-dc
converters, line-interfaced ac-to-dc converters and power quality,
magnetic devices, magnetic materials, and computer aided analysis and
design of nonlinear circuits.
